This five-tiered process is critical for aligning business and customer goals. I usually work with PMs on kicking off and maintaining this process as it is crucial in defining and documenting upcoming improvements and features in the roadmap. The magnitude of this process is rather large and should involve business stakeholders as well real users when defining the strategy and scope components.

Principal Product Designer
August 2019 – March 2022
At Bellhop my core responsibility was to own all design and brand-related aspects of the Bellhop Pro workforce app experience for iOS and Android.
I primarily worked with the chief product officer, product managers, and the mobile engineering team to uncover and solve core problems within the app.
We would kick off design sprints with stakeholders when needed to ensure we properly understood all the variables at hand prior to jumping into Figma. I would then create wireframes, style guides, prototypes, and finally, elegant design solutions that would improve behavior patterns within the app as well as completely up-leveling the entire mobile experience from a UI/UX and brand perspective.
I performed at the peak of my ability when truly challenged to solve deep-rooted issues that were equally affecting the business and the end-users alike. I strive in delivering clean, functional, and practical design solutions for any medium, though I feel working in utilitarian and functional-based products is where I shine the greatest.
Key highlights.
Increase the performance of the workforce by improving end-user behavior patterns within the mobile app, in turn allowing the business to properly manage and reward individuals based on data-driven metrics.
Create an experience that allows the workforce to input usable availability that aligns with the customer's move times. The new design empowered the workforce with a clear and simple experience to input and understand job availability within the mobile app.
Reenvision the active move job dashboard experience for the workforce. We dove deep to understand core issues and encapsulate a multi-faceted solution that solves core business needs while improving the natural behavior of the workforce.
I worked closely with another designer to assist the marketing team in creating and maintaining brand continuity company-wide. I was responsible for the final creation of the existing and newly updated Bellhop icon. I helped apply this new mark across multiple facets of marketing collateral like the mobile app, the company website, nationwide billboard campaigns, moving truck wraps, stickers, and much more.

Magic Leap
Senior Product Design
2018
I was brought into Magic Leap in the early stages of developing their groundbreaking product. As a senior product design consultant for the Cloud Ecosystem team. My initial role was to design and create a web-based collection/portfolio of their internal XR experiences.
At this point in the company, there was no efficient tool for developers to upload, store or easily preview their XR experiences through any media other than the main devices. The initial idea was basically a Netflix for all Magic Leap XR experiences that in turn could easily be uploaded, maintained, viewed, and accessed from the headset.
I worked closely with the director of my team and a front-end developer to envision, design, and develop a web experience that captured the essence of the company's magic, while still being contained within a desktop experience. I was able to see this project into fruition and observe the impact it had on the internal teams of the company. This was surely a win for the company as we helped to offload any extra burden developers would have in transferring, viewing, and demoing their amazing creations.
My second project was to work with the XR UX team in envisioning what the Magic Leap App store experience could be within the extended reality experience (headset on). For the first time, I was able to think outside of the literal box and extend my imagination and knowledge of interaction into the extended reality of spatial interaction. We kicked off a bunch of design sprints on-site as well as met with some progressive creative agencies to attempt to capture this first-time experience.
Key highlights.
I utilized basic VR paradigms to assist in breaking outside of the normal thought process of design-based thinking.
I designed multiple layouts and conceptual models using Photoshop, Sketch, and VR tools to emulate the XR app store experience.
I met weekly with other creative teams, developers, and PMs to share learnings, layouts, restrictions, and possibilities. What a wild ride.

Senior Product Designer / Art Director
February 2016 – March 2018
At Squeeze, I was responsible for crafting, curating, and designing all web and mobile app-related needs as well as creating and maintaining the company brand from the start. At this small startup, every team member was strategic in helping to align the product goals. I worked closely with the CEO, COO, and engineering leads on platform, web, and mobile.
My primary role as a product designer was to encapsulate the company vision into a working mobile app through strategic design sprints based around defining the company objective to “Help people save money on their monthly bills”. In turn, Squeeze quickly became a financial mindfulness app that enabled customers to safely share bank information while we provided contextual spending dashboards and financial predictability based on data.
Key Responsibilities.
Having a deep understanding of banking-level security protocol which then was translated and integrated into the designs framework of the app.
I worked heavily in crafting visual financial dashboards that would aggerate spending habits into grouped categories to provide a high-level understanding of spending at a glance.
We created predictive financial analysis to provide customers insight on upcoming bills and potential earnings each month.
As the only designer at Squeeze at the time, I was also responsible for all marketing and brand collateral from start to finish. I worked closely with front-end devs to craft a beautiful website experience that clearly voiced the objective of Squeeze while instilling trust and a sense of engaging playfulness.
We conducted market research to understand our existing audience as well as discover ways we needed to reenvision the brand and outreach to better align the company with a wider audience.
Complete logo, brand, and company ID creation.
Create web and mobile style guides based on brand, feel, and desired UX for customers.

Cloud.com - innovation team was a specialized product division of Citrix systems.
Senior product designer
January 2011 – January 2016
As a senior designer, I had many roles and responsibilities ranging from the conceptual inception of products down to the execution of pixel-perfect design in preparation for major releases. Over the course of five years, my day-to-day included wire-framing, brand strategy, and complete product design for end-user and admin-based products. That also includes UI and UX design for web, mobile, and desktop applications as well as the implementation of an agile prototype process. Not to mention- leveling up my ping-pong skills to borderline Ninja status.
Key Accomplishments
Concierge
Lead designer for Concierge, a web and mobile-based customer experience technology platform. I had the good fortune to be part of this product from the very beginning. I was responsible for every facet of visual design, UX, and product branding on all platforms.
Developer Platform
My main role as lead designer in driving the vision for our developer toolkit was to communicate with developers and PMs to better understand the complex needs of this unique product. I would then wireframe iterations of the core components and functionality of the product. Upon approval, I would create mood boards with brand, colors, textures, and interaction themes to get a feel for the type of personality we wanted this product to have. Working closely with our front-end developers I personally made sure every pixel was perfect and every interaction was engaging as it was efficient.
Cloud Sync
We set out to have a web and mobile-based UI that allowed consumers and professionals alike to access all of their digital files from any device. I was the lead designer in driving the iOS and Android-based visual and interaction design. This powerful project allowed me the ability to showcase my skills in Icon and logo design, product design spanning web and mobile, quick-start installation guides for Mac and Windows, Demo presentations as well as custom apparel and sticker design.
